My Film VFX journey started around early 2003, as VFX Artist.
Handling Visual Effects or doing VFX Supervision or on-shoot VFX is always great fun at the same time it’s challenging. as you have to keep yourself updated with the latest updates in the VFX industry.
It was great learning at all the stages from being a VFX artist to VFX Supervisor / VFX Director

Here are the 3 most important aspects of Visual Effects – and this is exactly what a VFX Supervisor does:
Pre-visualization
initial Planning stage
Breaking down the script, storyboarding, and planning VFX shots so everyone knows what’s required & what’s achievable within given budget and time.
On-set Supervision
Shooting stage
Guiding the shoot with the right technical setups (green screen, tracking, lighting references, etc.) so the post-production team doesn’t struggle later.
Post-production
VFX Execution / Delivery stage
Overseeing the VFX pipeline & making sure it gets deliver, ensuring the shots not only look smaless but also serve the story and director’s vision.
Many filmmakers, directors, and producers in India often make the mistake of involving a VFX Supervisor only at the post-production stage.
In reality, the VFX Supervisor’s role begins much earlier. Having a Visual Effects Supervisor onboard is crucial to bring the vision to life.
My role is to streamline these functions right from the start, so the entire production flows smoothly, without unnecessary delays or budget overruns.

VFX Making of Ajintha
As a VFX supervisor, i got a chance to overseeing the visual effects of this feature film – Ajintha. One of my most noteworthy achievements is my contribution to the Marathi film “Ajintha,” which was released around 2012. as the film ” AJINTHA” was (Directed by Mr. Nitin Desai, renowned ART Director / Producer),
I took on the critical role of conceptualizing and managing the complete VFX process including VFX Direction & VFX Execution, & really enjoyed in providing my experience and creativity for this Movie.
I utilized advanced CGI techniques to create breathtakingly realistic animals for the film, we had a chance to Produce Fully Animated Snakes, Bats, and Birds. Etc
When I heard the story narrated by the Director, I realized there are many sequences that require not only VFX but Animation also & required a thorough understanding of the complexities of animal movement, anatomy, and behavior, as well as a keen eye for detail to ensure that the animals blended seamlessly with the live-action footage. with the help of an amazing team of Animators & other artists and the skillful use of CGI, we were able to pull off some great visual effects shots that captured the imagination and drew the audience deeper into the film’s storyline.
In addition to the use of advanced CGI techniques, We also introduced the Milo ( Motion Control System ) to the Marathi film industry for the first time in year 2012. This groundbreaking technology allowed for precise camera movement and coordination with computer-generated images, further enhancing the film’s visual impact and raising the bar for future productions in the industry. since i had used milo before this for ad films i was confident to use it for few sequences
Overall, it was a great experience in conceptualizing and managing the complete VFX process, and by utilizing cutting-edge CGI techniques and introducing new technologies like the Milo motion control system, I was able to push a new level of visual sophistication and excitement to the film.
